Meet Stacia Whatley
Your No-BS Real Estate Launch Captain
Real estate doesn't need more agents. It needs better ones. That's what I'm here for.
Who I Am
I'm Stacia Whatley, a 17-year real estate veteran, former team leader, managing broker, national speaker, and the person who got genuinely fed up watching talented new agents crash and burn because nobody taught them how to actually run a business.
I've been a buyer's broker, a listing agent, a team owner, a managing broker, a mentor, a marketer, and let's be honest, an unpaid therapist to more agents and clients than I can count. I've sat across the table from hundreds of transactions, managed over 100 brokers across my career, and trained and coached new agents through their first year more times than I can remember.
I've seen what works. I've seen what destroys careers before they start. And I built The AI Agent Launchpad because I got tired of watching the same preventable mistakes happen over and over again.
The Career Behind the Curriculum
I didn't build this program from theory. Every module, every system, every framework inside The AI Agent Launchpad came from 17 years of real-world experience in one of the most competitive, unpredictable industries on the planet.
Here's the condensed version:
Broker & Sales Career I spent years in the trenches as a producing broker with two of the Pacific Northwest's most respected brokerages; Hawkins-Poe Inc. and John L. Scott Inc. Over my career I've closed over 83 transactions, earned Silver Sales Awards in 2015 and 2016, and a Bronze Sales Award in 2013. I wasn't just selling homes, I was building systems, testing strategies, and figuring out what actually moves the needle in this business.
Team Owner & Leader I built and ran my own real estate team, StaciaSellsHomes + Associates LLC, managing a team of four including an Inside Sales Associate, two Buyer Brokers, and a Transaction Coordinator. Running a team taught me something most agents never learn: real estate isn't just a sales job. It's a business. And if you don't treat it like one, it will eat you alive.
Managing Broker I stepped into a managing broker role with a large brokerage and took on an office of 55 brokers. During my tenure that office ranked as the number 3 producing office in the Silverdale market. I trained, coached, mentored, and sometimes dragged agents toward success, all while navigating one of the most turbulent markets in recent history including post-COVID interest rate hikes, the NAR/DOJ lawsuit fallout, and a market that didn't give anyone a free pass. Over the course of my entire career I have directly trained and managed over 100 brokers.
National Speaker In 2015 I was selected as a national speaker at the Curaytor Conference in Orlando, Florida, one of the most forward-thinking marketing and technology conferences in the real estate industry. I presented on leveraging an Inside Sales Associate to convert incoming leads, warm them up, and match them with the right agent on your team. Translation: I was talking about systems and smart lead management before most agents knew what a CRM was.
Why I Built This
Here's the truth nobody in this industry wants to say out loud: the real estate licensing process does almost nothing to prepare you to run a business.
You pass your exam. You hang your license. And then you're handed a business card and told to go get ‘em, with zero instruction on lead generation, zero guidance on follow-up systems, no marketing plan, no CRM setup, and no clue how to build something that lasts beyond your first lucky transaction.
I watched this play out hundreds of times as a managing broker. Talented, motivated people walking in the door full of energy and walking out six months later having never closed a deal, completely burned out, and convinced they just weren't cut out for real estate.
That's not a talent problem. That's a training problem.
And here's the part the industry really doesn't want to admit: it's a systemic one.
I was a managing broker. My job title implied I had the time, bandwidth, and structure to properly train every agent who walked through my door. The reality? Not even close. Every single day I was buried in the operational demands of running an office, compliance issues, contract disputes, transaction fires, agent conflicts, and a hundred other things that had nothing to do with sitting down with a newly licensed agent and teaching them how to build a business. The day-to-day of managing an office is relentless, and the agents who need the most help are ironically the ones consuming the most of that already-depleted time.
And this isn't unique to me or the offices I worked in. This is every brokerage. Every single one.
They will all tell you during recruitment that they have incredible training programs. They will show you slick onboarding materials and mention their mentorship system and make it sound like you'll be fully supported from day one. And then you show up, and the reality sets in. Your managing broker is too busy putting out fires to sit with you for more than fifteen minutes. The "mentorship" they promised means getting paired with a seasoned agent who is also running their own business and has zero incentive, and very little time, to properly train you. And the formal training programs, when they exist at all, are often built on outdated scripts, outdated strategies, and an outdated understanding of how buyers and sellers actually behave today.
The industry has been running this way for decades. Brokerages profit from having more agents regardless of whether those agents succeed. The model was never designed to produce well-trained, business-savvy professionals. It was designed to produce volume.
I spent years inside that system, first as an agent trying to figure it out myself, then as a team leader building my own training from scratch, and finally as a managing broker watching the same gaps swallow agent after agent despite my best efforts to patch them with the limited time I had.
I'm done watching it happen. The AI Agent Launchpad exists to be what the industry promised you but never delivered; a real, comprehensive, no-fluff business education built specifically for the agent who just got their license and is trying to figure out what the hell to do next. You deserve better than being pawned off. You deserve an actual system. And that's exactly what this is.
How I Teach
Fair warning: I'm not for everyone.
I'm blunt. I don't sugarcoat. I occasionally cuss. I will tell you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear because you're an adult, and you deserve to be treated like one.
What I won't do is pad lessons with fluff to make a course look longer than it is. I won't lecture you into paralysis with theory that doesn't apply to your actual Tuesday morning. And I will never pretend that real estate is easy or glamorous, because it isn’t, but it is absolutely worth it when you build it the right way.
If you want cheerleading and vague inspiration, there are plenty of other programs for that.
If you want straight talk, real systems, and someone who's actually done the work, you're in the right place.
What I Believe
Real estate has a bar. And right now, that bar is on the floor.
Too many agents enter this industry without the tools, the training, or the business foundation to serve their clients at the level those clients deserve. That's bad for buyers and sellers. It's bad for the industry. And it's bad for the agents themselves who invest time and money into a career they were never properly set up to succeed in.
I believe every newly licensed agent deserves a real education, not just a license and a hope. I believe AI is the most powerful equalizer this industry has ever seen for new agents willing to learn how to use it properly. And I believe that when agents are better trained, the entire industry gets better.
That's not a marketing line. That's why I get up and do this every day.
